White Mountain Strongman 5

The weather was perfect for the 5th annual White Mountain Strongman and woman held on June 9th in Littleton New Hampshire. 36 athletes came from all over New England to test their strength in the axle press away, farmers walk, deadlift for reps, carry and drag medley and keg over bar. All proceeds went to two charities; Eugene McDonough foundation and New Digs for Dogs Rescue. Amanda Robillard took first in the women’s novice class by banging out 17 reps with a 205lb deadlift and 10 reps with a 110lb keg over a 46” bar. Best of the West level-2 strongman contest

Saturday, June 2, Best of the West level-2 strongman contest took place. This was definitely a showcase contest. Some of the West coast best and upcoming athletes displayed athleticism and strength throughout the day. Andrew Mock, top middleweight amateur, coming off a a solid placing this past March at The Arnold in columbus Ohio, won the MW overall. Hannah Ficek and Nadia Solis, MWW athletes battled it out all day long. Both athletes are surely progressing rapidly and showing that they will be a force to reckon with at National Championships having both earned qualifying marks taking 1st and 2nd place. The Magnus' Mayhem competition

Unbreakable Athletics hosted Magnus' Mayhem, a Level I Strongman Corporation show, on May 5 in Plainfield, Indiana. We have hosted a number of different shows over the last three years, but this was the first one that was sanctioned at our place and only the second NAS sanctioned event in Indiana. The show ran simultaneously with our first Highlander show which combined Scottish Highland Games events with typical Strongman events. The show was a great success on many levels.
