Liefia Ingalls was the winner of the first ever Arnold Pro Strongwoman Championships which took place in 2017. Ingalls was one of the very first women awarded a professional status in the sport of Strongman with the creation of the division in 2016. She has competed and impressed in elite-level strongwoman contests, both nationally and internationally, including World’s Strongest Woman, the Arnold Professional Strongwoman Championship, and Strongest Woman in the World. The Eighth Annual Team Tom Jack Robinson Lifting Classic was held Feb. 9 at Team Tom Gym in Greeley, Colo. A lot of first-timers made up the 35 competitors but it was David Keetley and Anthony San Lorenzo who turned heads as both earned national qualifying honors at the meet. “Both of those guys are great lifters,” Wendy Forsyth, owner, and operator of Team Tom said. In the men's heavyweight division, Keetley won by nine points over Joshua Slotnick and Jeremy Everding was third with 25 points. A food truck, aerial yoga, and a strong competitive spirit was all a part of the second annual AZ Beer Bullies that was hosted once again at Phoenix's Liberty Performance Training. Strongman has given Jose Baez a second spark to life.

Baez is a former football standout who found success at the college level. After graduation, Baez continued to lift heavy weights but something was missing. Hoisting big weights wasn't enough. He needed to compete. “After being told that I would never take another snap, I needed to find something to bring that fire back,” Baez said. “It's like I have a second wind.” Baez used that fire to win the 2019 Odd Haugen All-American Strength Classic held at the Los Angeles Fit Expo.
